In 1999 we, Débora and Egiarte, directors of ABeCéSpanish met in a language school in London where we were teaching Spanish, and we have been working together ever since. We love when our students grow in confidence and are able to have comfortable and natural conversations in Spanish. We teach in a fun and engaging way, but with the underpinning grammatical principles and an understanding of Spanish culture and traditions.

Buenos días. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and came to London in my late twenties. After qualifying as an English and Spanish teacher in Argentina and London, I taught English and Spanish both to children at schools and to adults in colleges, universities and companies. I have also worked as a Teacher trainer on the International House Certificate in Teaching Spanish to Adults in London. I hold an MA (with Distinction) in bilingual translation and have worked as a freelance translator and interpreter in different settings.

¡Hola! I was born born in San Sebastian, Spain, where I grew up. I studied Journalism, and I was always fascinated with languages. When I came to London, I felt the need to do something with my language and in 1999, I trained to be a Spanish teacher at the International House (IH) School of Languages in London. I started teaching Spanish as a foreign language straight after my course to groups and individuals of all levels, ages and educational background, in companies and at universities.
